There will unfortunately be a delay in shipping any of our control arms and panhard bars which require our Poly/Delrin Bushings.
When I contacted our bushing manufacturer, Jim, to check on our order I was informed of the heartbreaking news that his wife of many years had just recently passed away.
Like CHE Performance, he is a small shop and an owner who is critical to the operation of his business. Please be patient and understanding as he recovers from this traumatic event.
Jim was key to our success and I began working with him from a very early time in the development of our products. I am deeply saddened as it was actually his wife who led me to Jim as a vendor, and our families share many common interests.
Due to the fact that we have a uniquely engineered bushing design we will unfortunately be unable to substitute another bushing from a different manufacturer.
We hope to start receiving bushings by the end of February at which time we will fill any orders placed before then. But please be aware that we can not guarantee that we will have bushings in that time frame.
In the meantime, we will be offering a 10% discount on any control arm orders placed between now and when we receive our bushings with the understanding that the control arms will ship when available. UPDATE: We will be picking up the first batch of bushings on Monday, April 11th. We will get all orders filled as quickly as possible with the goal of everybody having their parts by the end of the week. We will be honoring the 10% discount on any orders we receive until Wednesday, April 20th as we work to put items into inventory. Orders are currently on a 1-3 day delay as we build stock.
